Collecting of Personal Information

We use personal information to liaise with you telephonically via our website or email to:

  1. Register learners and users for respective programmes and courses.
  2. Process, validate and verify information and requests to make sure we communicate with users of our services and for purposes you specifically provided the information.

Personal information collected on the registration page is not retained on the website to minimise cyber security risks.

Processing of Information

We will share personal information only in the following instances:

  1. Registration with other professional bodies, obtaining additional funding and certification of programmes and courses (only as it relates to facilitating the execution of services provided to you).
  2. Specific parts of personal information are carefully processed (to meet specific requirements) and not to risk access to all personal data.

Security Measures

We will:

  1. Treat your personal information strictly confidential.
  2. Take appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal information secure against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, alteration, disclosure, or access.
  3. Promptly notify you if we become aware of any unauthorised use, disclosure, or processing of your personal information.
  4. Provide reasonable evidence of our compliance with our obligations under this policy on reasonable request.
  5. Retain parts of personal information (specifically names, ID numbers and Certificate Unique Identifier) longer than three years to ensure that we record all certificates issued and can recover these for future reference.

Although the necessary precautions are taken to protect personal information, the organisation and its subsidiaries will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from disclosing such information if outside reasonable control. 


Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  1. Rectify the Personal Information collected by us.
  2. Object to the processing of Personal Information subject to applicable legislation.
  3. Request the return or destruction of Personal Information subject to applicable legislation; and
  4. Forward a complaint to the organisation, which always, will be addressed to ensure adherence to your needs and preferences.

The Personal Information processed by us is not routed/transferred to a third country or international organisation.
